Eliade was going to go straight through Serenity and for that little brat of hers. She had no problem with children, but she didn't like Shaira. Serenity would be next, that was for sure. But something burst through the doors and had caught her attention. The next thing she knew she was going through a door. Eliade smacked into the door and rolled across the ground. The screams of the people in the room was barely audible while her head was spinning. "What the hell was that?"

Sven gasped as he saw the branch. "Mom," he said almost distraught. He looked at Shaira. Why had she done that? Why didn't she just let Serenity and Eliade fight it out. The young boy was about near in tears again when he remembered the rules of a ninja. He walked over to Shaira and shook his head. "Leave her alone." He stated firmly. He didn't want to fight his friend, but family came first.

Serenity's eyes were wide when she saw what it was that had burst through the door. And not only that, it had sent Eliade flying. She had no clue her daughter had so much power, sure, she'd seen the girl playing with plants outside, but...this was ridiculous! Serenity kept her eyes on Eliade in case the woman wanted to get up and try again. She should've known that Shaira wouldn't have let her take the battle, the girl was just a natural fighter.

Shaira jumped up in success when her move hit. "Yeah, take that!" she said. She hadn't really known that she'd done something bad, because her mom hadn't said anything to her. At least, she hadn't known it until Sven came up to her and told her to stop. Her smile faded and replaced with confusion. "Huh...? Why?" she asked. She had no intentions of hurting Sven, after all, it was Eliade who had tried to harm her. It just didn't strike her at the moment that the woman was Sven's mom. She'd kind of forgotten that. For now the woman was just an enemy who'd been trying to attack her.

"What do you mean why? That's not just some enemy," he told her. "That's my mom!" His wasn't screaming or anything, but he didn't sound exactly thrilled. "If it was anyone else sure, but I can't let you hit my mom like that. I don't want to lose you as a friend, but if you keep this up, I'm afraid we'll have to fight this out. And personally, I don't want that." His eyes were almost sad looking. He was torn. Yes he was made at his mother, but still.

Eliade got up slowly. Play time was over. She looked at her dressed that was a bit damaged from the branches. She didn't whine over things like that, but she did like that dress. "You want to play with trees, fine then, have fun, but you aren't winning against me." She started towards the child before breaking into a run. "Ninja Art: Full Moon Dance." The scenery changed into of the outside with a large moon. Another genjutsu technique. A large owl came down on Shaira, followed by several thousand small ones.

Serenity's eyes hadn't left Eliade the whole time the two kids had been talking, but she hadn't been ignoring the kids conversations either. Something told her that this night was gonna turn sour, even before they'd left. Damned Seer instincts... Serenity's eyes gazed around quickly when the scenery suddenly changed. How in the hell had that happened? Was this...yeah, this had to be a genjutsu or something like that. Serenity wasn't completely ignorant to the ways of ninja. As she saw the owls coming down at her daughter, Serenity made a dome of air around the two children, because, though she knew it was genjutsu, she didn't know how to stop it, so treating it like a normal scene was the next best thing. Seeing that Eliade was running at Shaira, Serenity moved herself in front of the woman and aimed a punch at her. Because if there was one thing Serenity had, it was upper body strength.

Shaira blinked as what Sven was saying finally hit her. "But..." she looked towards Eliade then back to Sven. "I..." She seemed to be at a loss for words. "Sorry," she said, her shoulders and gaze dropping, but they were brought back up immediately as the surrounding area changed. "What..." Now she looked kind of scared. She knew nothing of this type of thing. She swallowed and stepped back as a bunch of owls came swooping down at her, shocked to find that some kind of dome was suddenly around her. What was going on here?

Sven looked at Shaira as she apologized. "It happens," he said with a small smile before the scene changed. He looked around. "This is some kind of jutsu," he said. He stepped back at the owls coming down. Was his mom really attacking while he was less then five feet away from her target? He swallowed but then he saw the barrier thing. "Nice save." He said, but it didn't look like it was over yet.

Felix had recovered a bit. His arm felt like it's been ripped off, restitched, then ripped off again, but that hadn't stopped him from knowing he need to put an end to this. He walked slowly to the two women. The kids were in just as much danger. "Dispell," he said destroying the genjutsu. He then caught Serenity's arm with his bad arm and Eliade with his good one. "That's enough," he said. "You want to fight, do it when there aren't thousands of people watching." He tossed Eliade to the ground and released Serenity's arm.

Eliade was ready to take down the woman with all she had. So what if the kids had a barrier. Just when she was in range someone had caught her arm. "Felix." She breath before she was tossed to the ground. The impact made her sit still for a moment. Why had she been thrown and not Serenity? Shouldn't it have been the other way around?

(OHHH SNAP!! I love Eliade's question though, she probably feels like crap now. Why had she been thrown and not Serenity, when I read that I was like *snicker* Sucker.)

Serenity blinked, ready to strike at whoever had been foolish enough to grab her arm, stopping when she saw that it was Felix. She hadn't even realized that the surroundings had gone back to normal. She stepped back from the two when Felix released her arm, surprised that he hadn't thrown her as well as Eliade. But she wasn't about to complain about something so small. Her eyes were cold as they landed on Felix's wife, but she suddenly turned and started towards the children, dropping the barrier around them. "Shaira, we're going home, come on sweetie," she said, walking over and taking Shaira's hand lightly. She started towards the exit with her daughter, but then stopped and looked over her shoulder at Felix. "Feel free to bring Sven over when you get back from your mission Felix," she said. "Good night." And with that, she started out the door with her daughter.

Shaira was glad that Sven wasn't angry with her. After all, she'd only been trying to defend herself, even if she had egged his mom on. She'd started it though, by hitting Sven for no reason. She looked up at her mom as she came over, took her hand, then said they were going home. "Okay mommy," she said, walking with her mom. "Bye Sven, bye....Mr. Kuriyama," she said the last bit almost sadly. When they were out of the building, Shaira looked up at Serenity. "Mommy...why was she being mean to us? Sven said that we could share....so why'd she get mad?"

Serenity blinked and looked down at Shaira as she called Felix Mr. Kuriyama. She almost wanted to go and punch Eliade again because of that. She sighed and picked Shaira up, deciding she was going to carry her home. "Don't worry about it honey. You can still call him dad, just not in front of her. Let's go home, then I can make you dinner and we can play a game, okay?" she said with a light smile. She just wanted to forget this night had ever happened. No, she would not punish her daughter for this. She was sticking up for a friend, and there was nothing wrong with that. But...she'd definitely get scolded for the way she'd spoken and egged Eliade on.

Felix said nothing to Eliade when she spoke his name. The look on her face was enough to tell him he'd made her start questioning him. That was exactly what he wanted. She'd be more worried about what was about to happen between the two of them then Serenity and Shaira. The ninja sighed heavily. He was getting tired. "Good night Serenity and Shaira." He would explain to the child later that it was still okay to call him dad. He looked at Eliade with an almost cold expression. "Sven, it's time for us to be heading home as well," he said not taking his eyes off of the red haired kunochi. Holding his arm he too started for the door.

Sven knew his mom and dad were not going to be talking for a while, and if they did it would be arguments. But he wouldn't mind. He'd be at school anyway, if they ever let him come back after this. Secretly he felt a bit weak. Serenity controlled wind, Shaira controlled trees and stuff, his dad was extremely fast and powerful, and his mom was strong. But where did he fall? At the bottom. Powerless. He sighed, now he really did want to go home. "See ya when my dad gets back Shaira." He then followed after his father.

Eliade remained speechless. A bit upset about the way she'd been treated she got up and followed quietly. Maybe she'd gone a bit far, but she didn't think Felix would turn against her. She'd always believed that family came first. She taught Sven that, and though Felix understood it. But it seemed as though she was wrong, and now she was questioning if he really loved her, or if his feelings remained with that blond haired b!&@#.
