(this is gonna start off at the house)

Serenity woke up the next morning, more excited than she'd been in a long time. She immediately got up, dressed, did her hair, and brushed her teeth. She was sure that Felix hadn't gotten up yet, since she seemed to be up earlier than she'd planned. She was sure that Felix would doubt that she'd slept again, but this time she really had. She went down into the kitchen and started making breakfast. She wasn't sure if Felix had no appetite again, but he was gonna need his strength if the rumors about the treasure really were true.

Felix woke up a few hours later feeling very short of refreshed. Shower and taking a pair of scissors to his hair, since Serenity had never answered ihis questioned, he cut it to its normal length. He then took his shower then dressed in his usual attire of black, minues his white jacket until they left. Walking down the stairs he sat at the table very silently without speaking. He was still waking up.

Serenity looked at Felix when he came into the kitchen and sat down silently. She blinked in surprise. "You...cut your hair," she said a little quietly. She smiled. "I'm glad, it looks good on you," she told him. "You hungry this morning?" she asked with a smile, turning back to what she was cooking. "It's gonna be a long day, you should probably eat something," she told him.

Felix looked at her. "Can you trim it up before we leave," he asked. He then sighed. "You're not giving me much choice," he said. "Anyway, sure, I'll eat, what are we having?" He asked nonchalantly. He hoped it wasn't spaghetti for breakfast. :}

Serenity smiled when he asked if she could trim it before they left. "Of course," she said. When he asked what they were having, she didn't turn from the stove. "You like pancakes, right?" she asked, her voice brimming with excitement.

Felix nodded. "Yes," he said. "Pancakes are good." He then gave a small yawn. "Did you get any sleep last night," he asked. "Since you're saying I'll need my strength. You'll need your energy." Truth be told though, Felix didn't want any breakfast. He had no appetite, again.

Serenity looked at hhim when he asked if she got any sleep last night. "Yes I did. Don't you worry," she told him with a smile as she put a few pancakes onto a plate with a fork and knife and put the plate in front of him. Obviously he wasn't a morning person. (We'll just say the butter and syrup is already on the table XD I'm too lazy) Then Serenity turned around and went on to start making her own pancakes. "Did you sleep well last night?" she asked. She hoped so.

Felix looked a her. "Yes," he said. "I slept well." Felix then looked down at the pancakes. The only thing going through his brain was he wasn't hungry and didn't want to force himself to eat. He slowly picked up his fork. "Looks good," he said and placed his fork in the top and started to cut it. He took one bite and then another, trying not think.

Only about a minute later did Serenity's pancakes get done, so she sat down and started eating as well. She looked at Felix a moment before giving a small sigh. "No appetite again?" she asked. Even if Felix didn't want her to know, she could tell. She shook her head. Even though she'd told him that he should eat something, she didn't want him to force himself. "Felix, don't worry about it. Don't force yourself to eat if you're not hungry," she told him. Serenity was slowly, but definitely, becoming more accustomed to reading Felix. Soon enough he was probably gonna change things up again, so she'd have to relearn all over again. How fun would that be.

Felix looked at Serenity as she sat down and told him he didn't have to force himself. He immediatly dropped the fork and pushed the plate away like a child that didn't want to eat his veggies. "The little I had was good," he said. He didn't want to make her feel like she hadn't made good pancakes. Had he had an appetite he would have without a doubt ate them all.

Serenity smiled when he said that the little he had was good. "Thank you," she said. She then looked back at her plate and took a bite, swallowing before asking Felix her next question. "Has this ever happened before Felix? I mean, where you didn't have an appetite for several days?" she asked him. She wasn't trying to be prying or sound like miss doctor or anything, because she didn't want Felix getting defensive again, she was simply curious.

Felix looked at her when she asked her doctor question. He didn't even have to consider lying because he was going to do it anyway. This had never happened, but he didn't want her going all doctor on him. "Yes, it's happened before. Mayybe about one a year, twice at the most." He shrugged. "Excited?" He asked.

Serenity looked back at her plate as he told her that it had in fact happened before. "I see," she said plainly. She was actually trying very hard not to ask him other questions, because if this was an ongoing thing, it could turn out to be very bad. She hadn't even considered that Felix had lied to her about it. When he asked if she was excited, she smiled and looked at him. "You bet I am," she said. It wouldn't be long until her mortal side started coming out again. (I'm just gonna say that she was eating throughout the post, cuz again, I'm feeling lazy)

Bingo. All he had to do was keep her going about the trip and there would be no problem. "Alright Adventure Jane, what time will we be heading out," he asked. He'd seen only part of the map, and had never traveled into the Unknown unless compeltely necessary. This wasn't necessary, but it was a change in what he normally did. "

Serenity looked at him with a raised eyebrow as he called her adventure jane. "Adventure Jane? What the heck time is that from?" she asked with a laugh. "I haven't heard that line in decades!" she said, giggling. "Anyways," she said calming down. "We'll leave as soon as I get done eating and trimming your hair," she told him with a smile. She was actually almost done eating, she only had a few pieces left.

Felix shrugged. "Unless you prefer Indiana Jones," he said with a smirk. "And decades? Once again proves your old, but I want bother you too much on the subject," he told her. He was feeling pretty confident about this little treasure hunt. He'd have to call over to Walker and Stephen's house and tell them he'd be out for a while. But he could do that later.

Serenity rolled her eyes as he said unless she preferred Indiana Jones. "No thanks, Serenity is fine," she said with a grin. She really didn't want to be referred to as either of those. When he said that it just showed how old she was, she rolled her eyes again and finished off the last piece of pancake she had left. "Please," she said after she swallowed. "Decades to me is the same as decades to you," she told him as she got up, rinsed her plate and put it into the dishwasher. All that was left now was for her to trim his hair, then they could leave. She assumed that he would still want it in his eyes, as usual, but who knew, Felix was unpredictable.

Felix shook his head and then turned his head to the side as she went about cleaning up her mess. It was going to be a long trip, he could see that now, hopefully they could get through it without much arguing. So far they'd been doing pretty good, so he wanted props for that, but that didn't really matter as far as he was concerned. "Not too short please," he said. If she mess it up, he wouldn't be the calm person he was at this point in time.

Serenity looked at him as he told her not too short and smiled. "Mkay," she said, then went into the bathroom, getting out a towel, a comb, and scissors. When she came back, she laid the towel over Felix's back and shoulders. She didn't really care if she was doing it in the middle of the kitchen, cuz there was really no place appropriate for cutting hair. "And believe it or not, I have done this before, so you don't have anything to worry about," she told him with a smile. With that she started, first measuring with her fingers about how much she was going to take off. (I hate detail right now...I have no clue about any of this. Freakin details.) After that, Serenity started cutting, starting from the back, since it was the easiest way to start.

Felix sat verys till as she cut his hair, almost as if he'd become a statue. He only moved when she'd finished. "I appreciate this, " he said. Felix then looked to the side. "Since we're done with this, let's get moving," he said. "To the unkwown."

Serenity smiled when he'd said he appreciated it. "Don't worry about it," she told him with the same smile. When he said that they should get moving, her eyes shined with excitement. "Let me just get one last thing from my room before we leave," she told him with a smile. She then put the scissors and comb back into the bathroom and the towel into the hamper before running upstairs. She hadn't taken this particular article out in a long while, but it always stayed in her top dresser drawer. She pulled out a small knife in a black leather sheath and stuck it into her shoe, then pulled the leg of her pants over it to conceal it. Since it was very thin, it wouldn't be noticeable. She smiled then picked up her back and slung it over her shoulder, then headed downstairs. "Ready when you are," she told him, the excitement obvious in her voice.

Felix had stood up after she left out the room. He retrieved his jacket and put it on as he waited for Serenity. When she came down and said ready he looked at her. "You're the one with the map, lead the way," he said. A grin formed across his face.

Serenity smiled and started out the door when Felix said lead the way. "Well first thing's first, let's get to the Unknown," she told him with a smile, locking the door behind them. She fell in step next to Felix as they exited the Crested. "Have you ever been on a treasure hunt before?" she asked him. "I mean a real one, not one of those ridiculous scavenger hunts people have at birthday parties," she said.

"No," Felix said abrutly. "I have never done anything in that form or fashion." He then shook his head at her seriousness of treasure hunts. "You can be a bit intemidating at times," he said almost quietly. He didn't think Serenity could ever be like that.

Serenity only shrugged as he said that he'd never done anything like that. "Hm, that's too bad," she said. She was actually kind of glad that the first treasure hunt that Felix would be on would be with her. She looked at him and blinked when he called her intimidating, and she broke out into a small fit of laughter. After a few moments, she calmed herself down enough to look at Felix and actually speak. "Are you serious? You think I'm intimidating?" she asked him.
