It was about a week after the whole 'soul' incident, and everything seemed returned to normal. The whole village knew Serenity was back to her old self, she was taking patients again, and things between Felix and herself had gone back to normal. If there was even a normal for those two. Anyway, with her house all cleaned up and fixed, Serenity was taking patients for healings again and every now and then she'd have a friend stop by at random. Today wasn't one of those days though. Today was one of the days that Serenity was just sitting around lounging on her couch. In an outfit that other people would least expect her to be in. It wasn't anything like her normal attire, which was always proper, but this outfit was actually very casual. Her hair was straightened and gave her a look that most people wouldn't recognize her in. (The Outfit)

Felix walked with his hands in his pants pockets. An expressionless look on his face. So the past week he'd been getting his life back on track, letting Serenity get back into gear as well. He'd been on a mission, traveled over to Hunter's to make sure Oniki hadn't died. Thankfully Hunter had told him how he was leaving the Unknown and had ran into Oniki on the way out, so the kid din't even step foot inside. Felix was disappointed but pleased all the same. He'd also gone and visited Aiko and Lyra. This routine had become normal since him and Serenity had their argument two weeks back. Speaking of he was coming up to her door now. Felix knocked twice as usual and sat back and waited for her to answer.

Serenity blinked and looked towards the door as she heard two knocks, knowing immediately who it was. With a bright smile, she hopped up and went over to the door, opening it with the same smile. "Hiya Fe!!" she greeted him, holding herself back from attacking him with a hug, since there were actually people out and walking around today. She didn't want anyone to think Felix was getting soft or anything. "Come on in," she said with the same smile.

Felix was rocking back and forth as he waited for her to answer. When some girl answered he spoke. "Hey, is Serenity aroaaaaa..." There was a moment of silence. The expression on his face went from blank to confusion to disbelief to extreme confusion and finally back to blank. "Um..." He paused. "Serenity?" He asked. There was no way this was Serenity. Had to be her twin sister or something. But she had passed away. "What are you...wearing?" He asked, his eyes squinting a bit at the sight.

(OMG LMFAO ROTFLMFAO!!!!!)

Serenity blinked as he started to ask if she was around, then went into a small fit of laughter at his facial expressions. "Yeps," she said with a light grin as he asked if it was her, than raised an eyebrow as he asked what she was wearing. "What do you mean what am I wearing...?" she asked. "There's no need for me to dress so formally when I'm on vacation," she told him. "And are you gonna come in or stand there staring all day?" she teased with the same light grin. She'd been in really high spirits lately, for whatever reason. She wasn't complaining though, she loved being in a good mood.

Felix was not buying it. Not one bit. This wasn't Serenity. Serenity didn't dress like that. He could see a mental picture of an arrow pointing and flshing at her attire. Nor did she take breaks. Where was his Serenity? This double was not a very good actor. Felix almost looked miserable because he was so caught in thought. He was so confused and it wasn't at all funny. "Yeah....I'm coming," he said when questioned if he was entering or not. He walked in very slowly. Where's my Serenity???

(OMG *fangirls squeal in the background* Where's my Serenity!!!)

Serenity couldn't help but chuckle at his reactions, trying to keep herself from outright laughing again. When he came in, she shut the door behind him and looked at him with a smile, her head tilted a little. "What's wrong Fe?" she asked, and since the door was closed and no one could see, she wrapped him in a hug for a few moments before pulling back. "What, you don't like it?" she teased with a small laugh. She was wondering what his deal was. It wasn't like she had to be formal all the time, that got boring after a while. And she figured since she'd just gotten over the incident, she'd take a little break before going back to healing people full time. Besides, hadn't Felix said at one point that she needed more breaks? She had to admit, after that whole incident blew over, she felt more alive, almost like she'd been reborn or something. (yes, that's what I'm going with)

Felix blinked at her as she spoke. "Nothing," he said after she'd finished hugging him. "I just....you don't normal..." Felix shook his head. He hated being at loss of words and Serenity was laughing at him on top of that. He felt like the victim. "My opinion doesn't matter, it's your clothes," he said. He'd get back at her for this. Ten fold and more. Felix turned his head. "Glad you're taking a break..." He wnated to get off the subject of her clothes.

Serenity chuckled as he started to say something, but then again was at a loss for words. "Normal? When have you ever seen me as normal?" she asked with a light grin. She was kind of enjoying this. And she hadn't even been expecting him to come over, so it wasn't like she'd dressed like this just to get at him. She tilted her head a bit when he said that his opinion didn't matter since they were her clothes. "Well okay then," she said with a smile and a shrug, walking over to her couch and plopping down, actually looking somewhat relaxed for once. "Yeah, after that whole...incident, I wanted to take a short break before I got back into everything. And you can sit down you know," she said with a smile, then leaned forward. "Did you want me to get you anything?" Even though she was in a good mood, she still had a guest over, so being the hostess was still a priority for her.

Felix shrugged. "I thought that the way you dressed was normal, for you anyways..." Felix shrugged and took a seat when she told him he could sit. He knew that. He walked over and sat on the steps. His eyes looking her over once. "No, I don't want anything..." Felix had never seen such a sight. Serenity was the last person he expected to be dressed like that. Not saying it looked bad or anything, it was just...well different.

(lol, he's still shocked. and I'm still trying to figure out whether he likes it or not, lol, while at the same time trying to keep fangirls from attacking the scene)

Serenity only shrugged at his comment. "Well, I only started dressing like that after I became a healer," she told him. She had her own reasons for that, reasons that she would absolutely, positively not divulge to Felix ever, no matter how much she trusted him. Just like Felix had his own secrets, so did Serenity. It wasn't something she wanted to talk about. Talking about it would change nothing for her, so why bother. She shrugged when he said that he didn't want anything. She could tell he was still dumbfounded by this. "Okay. So howya been?" she asked with a smile.

Felix shrugged. He didn't know what she meant by that. Maybe she just wanted to look more professional. That was not professional at all. She looked like a teenager....she kind of was...He hated immortality. "I've been, extra ordinary," he said, making sure to seperate the word. "How have you been?" He asked. "With you break and all."

Serenity wondered what he meant by 'extra ordinary'. He probably just meant that he'd been doing the same as he always was, but she didn't really feel like asking, because she just figured that was what he'd meant. She leaned back on the couch at his question. "Really good," she said with a smile. "I'm actually...really relaxed for once," she admitted with a smile.

"That's good," he said finally getting over the whole outfit thing. It was actually nice to see her not going completely crazy about everything. Everyone needed a break at times. He grinned inwardly. I never knew she could be relaxed. She was always so...tense. Guess being Nurse Serenity could do that to you. "What all have you been up to?"

Serenity shrugged when he asked what she'd been up to. "Not much, but...." she stopped as she remembered something. Her smile brightened. "Feeeelix? When's the last time you ate?" she asked, looking at him. She may or may not have made something for him the day before in the hopes that he'd come over sometime soon. It was the least she could do after all he'd done for her.

Felix felt something stir when she suddenly stopped. He had a bad feeling about this and it didn't get any better as she called his name, drawing it out as she did. He shrugged. Felix didn't keep up with when he ate because he rarely ate nowadays unless he was extremely hungry. Food was energy, but it didn't keep him alive. Sometimes he just forgot. "Maybe two days ago, why?"

Serenity noticed his pause and smiled. It faded though when he said that he'd eaten two days ago. "You're....joking right?" she asked after a moment. Was that really the last time Felix had eaten? "Come in the kitchen," she said, standing up and heading into the kitchen. She then opened the fridge and pulled out a plate that was covered up. She'd made onigiri with pickled plums in it the day before, and they were still nice and fresh too, thank goodness. She remembered that was his favorite kind of food. She took the cover off and set it on the table. "Hereya go," she said with a smile.

Felix shrugged as she asked if he was serious. He couldn't exactly remember the exact number of days, but she hadn't given him time to think it over and give her the real number because she'd told him to go to the kitchen. "Um, okay." He got up with a sigh. Nurse Serenity was back. His hands in his pockets he sat at the table. When she got a plate he blinked. "You're going-" He stopped when he saw what she'd pulled out. His eyes widden. His brain seemed to trigger that he was hungry. Felix reached over and took one. Taking a bight his eyes shinned. "Pickled plum," he murmmered.

Serenity only looked at him as it seemed he was about to object, but gave a smile as he took one anyways and bit into it, noticing his reaction. "Yep!" she said, regaining her peppiness from before as she heard what he murmured. She couldn't really tell from this point in time, but she was sure he liked them. At least, she hoped he did. She leaned on the counter and looked at him with her head tilted a little bit. "So...you really haven't eaten in that long?" she asked, sounding a little bit concerned. How could anyone go that long without eating and still be up and running like Felix was?

"They're good." He said. "Very good." Felix continued to choke down the food. Savoring was hard to do, he loved onigiri too much. He stopped briefly to consider what he'd say when she asked about his eating. There was no way he'd say it might have been longer. "Yeah, I forget sometimes." He shrugged. "Where'd you learn to make these?"

Serenity blinked when she saw how fast he was eating them. She was going to tell him to slow down a bit, but... "How do you...?" she started to ask, but waved her hand dismissively. "Nevermind. I'm just glad you like them," she said with a smile. How did someone forget to eat? Oh well, it didn't matter too much, it's not like they could die from it. She smiled when he asked where she learned to make them. "A friend. I went and asked her after you told me that they were your favorite," she explained with a smile. It was true. Since it was really the only thing about him she actually knew that he liked, she just had to learn how to make them.

Felix looked up. "What?" He asked. "You were about to say something." His blue eyes searched her face. "Finish what you were saying." He then grinned. "All this for me? Aren't you adorable." He motioned for her to take a seat. "This is good, but you have to try it as well." He told her. He had a small grin across his face.

Serenity only shook her head as he asked what. "Nothing, nothing," she said, then sighed when he told her to finish what she was saying. "I was gonna ask how in the world you can forget to eat..." she said. She blushed when he called her adorable. "I-it's not...that's...hey, it was the only thing that I knew that you liked for sure, okay?" she said still blushing and turning her gaze to the side. She blinked when he motioned for her to sit down. "Um...I-I'm sure you need it more than I do," she said with a small smile, but took a seat nonetheless. She was getting a little tired of standing.

Felix blinked. When she said for sure he felt like he'd missed something. Why had she said that. Didn't she know what he liked. He'd told her plenty, hadn't he? He then pointed at her face. "You're blushing by the way." Felix started to eat again. "It's not like I starve myself, I just get so busy that I sort of forget. In my line of work, eating is the last thing on your mind, well, I have a special line of work next to normal ninja, but that's another story." Felix looked at the plate. "So eat."

Serenity looked to the side again as he mentioned that she was blushing. "Hush you..." She looked at him as he explained why he didn't eat a lot. "Yeah, I suppose that's true," she said when he said that in his line of work food was the last thing on his mind. She blinked when he told her again to eat. And you call me stubborn, she thought. "Fine," she said with a shrug, taking one and biting into it. She saw why Felix liked these so much. Of course she'd tried them herself when she first started making them, just to make sure that she'd made them to taste alright. She was really glad that Felix liked them.
