(Because if she took too long getting them she thinks he might be suspicious, and those pictures are bound to be somewhere in the middle, so he'd hear her shuffling around papers)

Serenity blinked as he asked if he could see the pictures. "Um, yeah, okay," she told him with a small smile. She didn't want him to think anything was wrong. She got up with the other box and headed upstairs. "Be right back down," she told him brightly. When she got upstairs though, she sighed. She put the one box back where it went and took another one out from under her bed. This one was a bit smaller than the other. When she came back downstairs with it again, she placed it in front of him and sat down next to him again. There were all sorts of pictures of different people in there, along with a few of Felix and Hunter, and one of Jasper. She'd planned on drawing more of him. She would've probably ended up drawing one of him that night, had Felix not insisted on staying up with her.

Felix was a bit thrilled. It was just dawning on him that these pictures would be somewhat unique. He looked down at the floor as she went upstairs. "Ichi, Ni, San, Shi..." He counted in Japanese. Felix did some weird stuff when he was bored. He looked up when Serenuty came down and sat the box infront of him. He looked down at the box and opened it. He started to look through the pictures. There were people he didn't know and was sure he never would, there were a few of him, and Hunter. His expression a bit bitter every time he same Hunter, and then he saw Jasper. He was suprised there was only one of him.

Serenity sat quietly as he opened the box and looked through the pictures. She was surprisingly calm. In the middle of the box, sat a picture of those two boys standing back to back with their arms crossed, looking like they thought they were some kind of unstoppable force. She gave a small smile at the memory of having drawn that. Those two boys were really something. They thought that as long as they were together, they could overcome anything. And for the most part, that'd always turned out to be true for them.

Felix looked through the pictures. Serenity was unnaturaly quiet if you asked him. He glanced at her as he continued to look. He stopped as he picked up a picture of two boys. For some reason he wasn't sure why it had caught his attention and then he realized they were twins. "Who are these two?" He asked showing her the picture. Twins. Kind of like Stephen and Walker. Serenity had never mentioned them before, but he felt a need to ask.

Serenity felt her heart skip a beat as Felix showed her the picture of the twins. She almost felt the need to start crying. She looked away and off to the side. "James and Konner," she told him. She took a momentary pause. There was no way around this. And she didn't want to lie to Felix. "They were my kids," she told him quietly, just above a whisper. She gave a light swallow to keep herself from breaking into tears. She rarely looked through the pictures in that box anymore, and only put fresh ones in. That was to keep herself from crying from going through all those pictures.

Felix didn't see why she paused after she told him the names of the boys. Only when she had said that they were her kids did everything take a 360. All those conversations they'd had about kids. All those times they'd joked. Just how many times had she been hurt by the subject. The picture dropped from Felix's hand and landed in the box like a feather. He looked at Serenity as she turned her head away. "I'm sorry," was all he could offer.

Serenity didn't see that Felix had dropped the picture back into the box, but when she heard him say he was sorry, she only looked at him with a small smile, that looked a bit half hearted. "You have nothing to apologize for," she told him. "It was....a really long time ago anyways," she told him with the same small smile. She didn't want him feeling bad or anything like that.

No matter how long ago it was, he could tell she was still hurt by it. He wouldn't dig any deeper. His curiosty for what lay deeper in that box had been crush. He placed the picture back where he'd found it and closed the box. He slid it back over to her. He wouldn't ask her about them unless she decided to speak on her own will. He was sure they were good kids though, Serenity seemed like she'd make the perfect parents. Running behind them making sure they were always safe. He almost grinned at the thought. Life could be good when it wanted to be. Felix stood up and held out his hand to her. "Come on," he said.

Serenity looked at the box for a few moments when he'd slid it back to her, and held back a sigh. She looked at him as he stood up and told her to come on. She took his hand and pulled herself up, looking at him a bit curiously. "Where are we going?" she asked, her head tilted a little. She was trying to forget that'd happened, even though it was only moments ago, and the easiest way to do that was to act like it hadn't happened. She really was curious as to where they were going though.

Felix smirked. "We're going to get some fresh air." He said. "Go put your box up and then meet me outside, don't worry about getting dressed or anything," he told her. "We're not going anywhere special, and besides, everyone is sleep, it's five am." He said and went out side before she could ask any questions. The fresh morning air was refreshing and made his head a bit clearer. The wind was blowing and something like the scent of fresh rain was on the air. He grinned as he waited for her.

Serenity blinked as he smirked and said they were going to get some fresh air. "Um, okay," she said as he told her to meet him outside after she put her box up. Even though Felix didn't know it, Serenity had been raised to obey every order given to her, which is why she had such a tough time telling Felix no whenever he told her to do something. Picking up the box, she brought it upstairs and slid it under her bed, but not before taking out the picture of the boys one last time and looking at it with a small smile. "Love you boys," she said in a whisper before putting the box under the bed. When she came back down, Serenity walked outside and looked at Felix. "So....where are we going again?" she asked. To get fresh air wasn't exactly a specific response. Were they just going for a walk or....what were they doing? She was actually pretty curious.

Felix was starring up at the starry sky when she came out. He dropped his gaze to her as she asked where they were going. "Up," he said. He wore a sly smile as he wrapped his arms around her waist and jumped up on the room of the house. He set her down and stepped towards the edge of the roof. Looks high enough, he thought to himself. If not...well, we'll worry about that when it happens. He looked at Serenity. "Stand back," he warned. Felix pulled out a small stack of papers and tossed them into the air. Manipulating his chakra he pulled the papers together to form a large paper bird. "All aboard."

Serenity blinked as he said up. "What do you-" she didn't have a chance to finish before Felix had wrapped his arms about her waist and jumped onto the roof with her. She'd literally wrapped her arms around him as they went up because it was so unexpected. When they were on the roof, Serenity let go of him and took a step back with an almost irritated expression. "Would you give me some warning next time," she said, looking off to the side. She looked at him and took another step back when he told her to stand back. She blinked as he threw papers into the air and they formed a large paper bird. She looked at it for a moment as Felix said all aboard. She walked over to it and poked it once, looking at it. "S-seriously?" she asked, turning to look at him.

Felix's grin remained. "Yes," he answered and lifted her onto the board. "Please keep all hands and feet on the bird at all times unless you'd like to fall to your death." He said calmly. He climbed onto the bird. "Let's ride." He leaned forward just enough so that the bird fell off the side of the house. Felix sat up straight and focused his chakra. The wind was coming fast as they dropped. "Up we go," he said almost amused as the bird shot upwards into the sky right before nearly hitting the ground. "You're going to need to know how to ride the wind someday," he said to her. "Afterall, it's your element."

Serenity looked at him and tensed a little as he lifted her on to the bird. Suddenly she felt very very scared. When Felix got on and leaned forward, she looked at him. "Felix, w-what are you-" again she didn't get to finish before the bird fell off the house. Without even thinking, Serenity wrapped her arms around Felix and held onto him tightly, her head against his back as they shot down. What the hell is he doing?! she thought in a mild panic. When he told her that she'd have to ride the wind someday, she didn't let go of him and didn't dare look down. "F-Felix, I really don't like heights!" she reminded him, still with her arms wrapped around him.

Felix blinked when she wrapped her arms around him. "I can't steer with you doing that," he told her still going up. "Do you want to fall off?" He asked. Felix finall straightened out teh bird as she said she didn't like heights. "How did you element ever turn out to be wind." He removed his hands from the side of the bird and looked back at her as they soared calmly above the night clouds. "Look down, you'll get a whole view of the village," he told her as he looked offf the side.

All Serenity could think when Felix asked her if she wanted to fall off was that comment wasn't helping much at all. When he finally straightened out, she was near shaking and she shook her head when he told her to look down, keeping her head against his back. "I'd really rather not," she told him with a swallow. At least they weren't vertical anymore.

Felix couldn't stop himself from laughing at her irrational fears. What could possibly go wrong while they were up there? He turned around completely so that she was attached to his back. He patter her on the head. "Seriously, take a look," he urged her. The entire town was lite up. Almost like an upside down sky. It wasn't that bad of a view to be honest.

"S-stop laughing," she said almost quietly. When he turned around completely, she just looked at him. She didn't want to, but when he told her for the second time to look, she couldn't help but to listen to him and look over the edge of the bird. Her eyes widened slightly. "We're....we're so high up," she said quietly. That really hadn't helped at all. It'd just made things worse. But at the same time....the lights of the town really were pretty. "Can we land now?" she asked in a small voice, turning back to look at Felix. She really didn't like this.

Felix sighed. "You and your heights," he mumbled as she asked could they land. "Hang on," he said. He placed his hands back on the sides of the birds. He leaned to the right a little and the bird started to descend like a fight plane. Had it just been himself he would have did a few spins, but he had Serenity. He did not want throw up all over him. As the got into the village Felix flew threw the streets. The wings of the birds stirred up dust. When at the house the bird went upwards towards the roof and began to break apart. Felix took Serenity's hand and jumped down as the bird seemed to have been blown away with the wind. The papers flew into the sky and Felix looked at them for a moment before turning to Serenity with a grin.

Serenity held onto Felix again as he told her to hang on. She was sure that hadn't been what he'd meant, but right now she didn't want to hang onto some bird made of papers. When the bird flew through the streets, Serenity blinked. She wished that she wasn't afraid of heights. She knew that probably would've been fun if she wasn't, and she really had wanted that to be fun, but she was just terrified of being up high. As the bird started falling apart, Serenity blinked and looked at it. She looked at Felix as he took her hand and jumped down with her. She was surprised that she wasn't shaking. She swallowed lightly as they landed and Felix looked up at the papers. She looked off to the side with a small shade of blush as he looked at her with a grin. "That wasn't very funny," she told him. She'd told him before that she hated heights. She wondered if he just forgot.

Felix kept himself from laughing. "It was to me," he explained before sitting down and the roof. He looked up at her. "You know, sometimes people just need to live for the moment," he told her. "It's how you get the best experiences in life." Felix had a theory. When you lived for the moment you didn't think, you just did. When you planned before you did something it ruined the surprise. That was his theory, and he planned on sticking to it.

Serenity only looked at him as he said that it was to him. "Yeah, I bet," she mumbled with a small hmph. When he sat down she looked at him with a sigh before sitting down too. When he said that sometimes people just needed to live in the moment, she looked at him without saying a word, then shrugged. The only reason she'd kept quiet was because she feared she might say something rude. Because there was only one thign on her mind then. I tried living for the moment on more than one occasion and it didn't work out very well for me, sorry.

Felix was looking up at the sky. The clouds were parting to let the sun shine through. "We pulled an all nighter," he said wistfully. Felix sat back with his arms crossed behind his head. "I told you I'd stay up with you." His expression had gone back to it's normal blankness. He narrowed his eyes as the first burst of lights shot through the clouds. It had been one heck of a day.

Serenity looked at him as he said that they'd pulled an all-nighter. She wanted to tell him that this was almost a frequent thing for her, but she didn't want him to get angry with her or anything. When he laid back, she went over next to him and sat next to him as he said that he'd told her he'd stay up with her. "And I told you that you didn't have to," she said with a small smile. Though I'm glad you did, she thought silently.
