Felix looked at Jasper as they moved along. He couldn't help but smirk at that. "I was thinking the same thing." Though he could not offer any information because he didn't learn much about the guy as they fought, just that he was strong and fast. "I don't know. Everything happened so fast." He shrugged. "One he's fast and strong, we know that. Two he's not human so it's going to take a lot more to kill him. If he had weak spots, I couldn't find them either, I only hit him like twice." Felix was going to lie about anything because teh truth was going to help them win. "I'm think that this guy is using a human skin from what I learned during a conversation between him and Serenity. His true form, let's try not to find out what it is. We'll most likely end up dead if we do." Felix sighed. "Anyway, with that being said it's likely he's holding back. And Jasper, don't leave yourself exposed when fighting him."

Jasper looked at Felix with a grin. "That's a bit too ironic." He listened to Felix intently as he explained. At least Kuriyama got a hit on him. Jasper sighed when Felix told him that it was likely the guy was holding back. "Which means that if we want to take him out, we can't give him a chance to show what he's really got," he said, following Shadow. "We gotta make our attacks quick and unpredictable, the best chance would probably be for us to use alternating attacks. Lemme ask you this, did he use any jutsu or anything like jutsu while you were fighting him?" he asked. Chances were that if the guy couldn't use techniques then Felix and him would have the upper hand. "And where did you hit him?"

Felix had taken his ahnds out of his pockets and crossed his arms over his chest. "He said another ninja when we were fighting. I'm sure he's not a ninja, and as far as I can remember he used no jutsu during the entire fight." Felix looked over to Jasper. "He shattered two of my kunai." Felix shook his head. Jasper was right, they'd have to fight without thinking what they were planning on so he couldn't read their movements. "I hit him once in the shoulder and then in calf with a kunai." Fighting blind, not my style.

Jasper nodded and lowered his gaze when Felix said that the guy had mentioned another ninja. "He was speaking of me, I'm sure," he told Felix. He nodded when he was informed that the guy used no jutsu. "Then we have an advantage. If we can hit him from multiple angles with jutsu, then chances are that we can catch him off guard with our own attacks and deal some serious damage," he said. Jasper blinked in surprise and looked at Felix as he said that the guy had shattered two of his kunai. "How?" He took a moment to think over the spots where Felix had struck him. So maybe the movement of his one arm is limited, and his footwork might be a little sloppy too, he thought to himself. "Which shoulder did you hit him in?"

Felix looked ahead of them. Multiple attacks, that would kill their chakra, but it was the best they had to offer. But if they failed, well, they were dead. He knew he was looking at the negative side, but it was better to know the pros an cons than be caught off guard when it happened. "He punched them," Felix repsonded. "And they broke like it was nothing." Felix shrugged again. "Right shoulder."

Jasper looked at Felix as he stated that the guy had simply punched the kunai. He then sighed. "You know what, I believe it," he said, shaking his head. On the impact of the demon's hits when Jasper had fought him, he didn't doubt anything that this guy did. He nodded when Felix said that he'd punched his right shoulder. "Then we should concentrate our attacks on his right side," he said. "It'll be harder for him to block that side, depending on the amount of damage you did to his shoulder." Shadow stopped and so did Jasper. Jasper knelt down to the wolf and patted it's head before looking in front of them. The wolf disappeared and Jasper stood up. "They're right up ahead," he told Felix.

"So, we focus on the right side and use multiple attacks until we can land some major damage on him, gotcha." Even if he did think that the amount of damae he'd done was a minimal amount, it was worth a try. As Shadow stopped do did Felix. He looked at Jasper as he said that Serenity and Seirath were right ahead. "What are we waiting for then?" He asked. They had the plan it was time to act.

Serenity only looked at Seirath as he questioned it. "Maybe it was those two, so what?" she said angrily. Seirath looked at her, a bit surprised by her sudden outburst of defiance. He chuckled. "Calm yourself, I left both of them alive, didn't I?" he told her with a small smile. They'd been through this already. He'd told her that he'd spared both of them only because they'd meant something to her. He really wasn't a monster like most other demons. He just went after something if he saw that he liked it.

Jasper looked at Felix as he laid out the plan, then asked what they were waiting for. "Absolutely nothing," he said, then started a jutsu. He'd made sure that on the way there he'd checked for lakes, or small bodies of water. Silently, a drill of water came out of one of the nearby lakes and solidified, then went to impale Seirath where he stood. Jasper looked to Felix and nodded, then turned back and started towards Serenity and the demon.

Felix was going to use his spead for this. Another thing he had in mind was to put some distance between Serenity and Seirath. He didn't want her getting caught in the cross-fire or doing anything stupid like she always did. Felix waited for Jasper's signal and then went around the other side. He was just a blur as he appeared infront of Seirath. He'd make sure the guy ended up impaled on Jasper's jutsu. Aiming a kick at the guy's shoulder.

Seirath didn't know what to think when he saw the silver haired ninja appear in front of him. It'd been several days since he'd seen the guy, so he'd just figured that he'd given up. Even with the surprise attack, Seirath moved back to avoid it, but was stopped. His eyes wide, he looked down to see some kind of ice drill had impaled him right above his stomach. Probably broke some ribs too. With a cough, Seirath grinned. "So you brought the other one with you too." The other ninja he'd fought used ice techniques, but he'd never thought he'd be caught in an ambush like this. With the same grin, Seirath walked forward slowly, moving himself off of the ice drill. "It's going to take a lot more than that to take me down," he said, aiming a punch at Felix, while at the same time keeping his eye out for the other ninja.

Serenity only looked in surprise as Felix appeared in front of Seirath. Felix....had come back? And from what Seirath said, she was guessing that Jasper had come too. She knew this demon had been strong, but could he really take on both Felix and Jasper? Her hope, which had been dwindling the further they walked, had now been rekindled. Without Seirath realizing it, Serenity had been practicing with her winds on the way as well, so maybe...she wouldn't unless she had to, but maybe she could help if those two were in a lot of trouble.

Jasper grinned as his jutsu hit. Taking out kunai as the demon walked off the drill, he threw them at the guy as he went to punch Felix. (sorry Jasper's is so short)

Felix was feeling a bit more sure as the guy got caught in the ambush. As he aimed a punch at him Felix backed off, thankful for Jasper's kunai. Felix pulled out a few of his own and then threw them. They were sort of tag teaming. So far it was going well, but the guy didn't seem phased by that drill through the ribs. Felix put some distance between himself and the guy. He didn't want to get hit.

Seirath didn't see what was going on. He was able to take the two of them separately, but why couldn't he handle them together? It was the same thing, the only difference being that he just had to watch his back for more than one attack. The ice ninja's kunai hit his arm as he went for the punch, but luckily, Seirath managed to dodge the silver ninja's kunai. He was having a hard time keeping up. But soon enough play time would be over. He'd eliminate these two once and for all. He sighed then gave a grin. "What pests you two are," he said. He pulled the kunai from his arm and whipped them at the silver ninja, then appeared in front of the ice ninja and attempted to punch him in the stomach. He wouldn't be beat by these two foolish humans.

Jasper saw his kunai hit, but the guy didn't even cringe. What was with him? His eyes widened as the demon appeared in front of him. His eyes turning orange, Boreas caught the punch but was pushed backwards a bit from the impact. Swiftly taking out a kunai, Boreas went to stab the guy's left shoulder. His plan was to immobilize both the guy's arms, and so far the right one was out, because he'd only been using the left one to punch.

So far so good. Felix moved back some more, but the force of the kunai knocked him off balance. He snatched it from his arm, taking a moment to regain himself. The blood was messing up his jacket. Felix shook his head and looked to see what was happening. Boreas and Seirath were going at it. Felix didn't want to throw kunai, he didn't want to hit Jasper by accident. He looked at a tree above them. Bingo. Felix ran up the tree and propeled himself off of a branch and clothes-lined Seirath.

Seirath wasn't able to block the kunai because the guy had his arm. He flinched when the kunai made contact, and since the ice ninja still had his hand, he threw the guy into a tree, and turned only to be struck by the the silver ninja. It took him a moment before he could get back up, and his breathing was a bit heavier than previously. What...what is this?! I can't be losing to these humans, I'm a demon lord! Words couldn't describe how angry he was with himself. He found himself becoming unable to move as quickly as he would've normally. He'd sustained quite a few injuries from these two.

Boreas grinned when the kunai hit the guys shoulder. He'd made sure that he'd lodged it nice and deep so that he wouldn't be able to use that arm efficiently. His eyes widened as he felt the guy using the arm anyways. W-what? he thought as he was thrown into a tree with a loud smack. He sat there with his head bowed for a few seconds. He was surprised the impact hadn't downed the tree. After a moment, Boreas brought himself to his feet and looked at the demon. It seemed that they were finally getting somewhere.

Serenity hadn't bothered watching the fight. She couldn't. She found herself shaking in fear, and she stayed out of sight behind a tree. The only thing she could do was hope that the two of them were okay. She didn't want to get in the way, not this time.

Felix stepped off to the side as he got the guy down. He didn't want to get too close to Boreas. If the Demon Lord caught them together it could possibly be the end for the two of them. Felix looked to Boreas. They had the guy down, no point in stopping. "Let's finish this," he said. As easy as it sounded, it was never that easy. The guy was a demon.

Boreas looked at Felix and nodded as the guy said let's finish this. They were almost there. Doing another jutsu, ice surrounded Boreas's hand in something that looked like an ice joust, and he ran at Seirath, in an attempt to stab him with it in the chest. But he didn't expect what happened next.

Seirath swallowed and grinned slightly as the silver haired ninja instructed that the job be finished. Arrogant little worms, he thought as the ice ninja ran at him. Sidestepping the attack, Seirath grabbed the ice ninja by the throat, but unlike with the silver ninja, he didn't loosen his grasp, with the intent of crushing the human's airway. But his grasp did loosen when he felt the ninja stab him with the ice sword. He dropped the ice ninja and stumbled back, unable to move.

Jasper dropped to the ground coughing and the ice sword disappeared from off his hand. "F-finish him Kuriyama," Boreas said between coughs. He could barely breath right now. It felt like someone had thrown him into space where absolutely no air could get to his lungs.

A mistake. That's what they'd made. They shouldn've stopped once thy had him down. They'd given him time to recover and now Jasper was there on the ground, coughing up blood. But on the other hand Seirath was immobolized. Felix didn't need to be told what to do next. Momentarily forgetting Jasper he pulled a kunai and turned, planting it in Seirath's throat and then he turned and kicked him in the chest. Felix left the guy there and ran over to Jasper. "Serenity, get over here!"

(needless to say, the demon's dead)

As soon as he'd dropped to the ground, Jasper's eyes had gone back to normal. His hand was on his throat and he was gasping for air that he just couldn't get. Even with his arm injured, Seirath had managed to do that much damage. That was one hell of a demon. Still coughing, Jasper felt himself slowly losing consciousness as his vision started blurring.

Serenity looked around the tree as she heard Felix call her, then ran over as she saw Jasper on the ground. She knelt next to him quickly. She'd seen what Seirath had done, so she knew what she had to do. Moving Jasper's hand from his throat, she put hers there instead and it immediately started glowing green. She stayed silent the whole time she healed him. Why does this always happen....why.... That was the only thing she could think.

Felix sat down as Serenity came over and started healing Jasper. He looked over his shoulder to make sure the guy was dead. He then sat back. "I don't ever want to go through that again." He wasn't worried about Jasper, he was in the hands of Serenity which meant he was safe. Talk about a long few days. Felix sighed as exhuastion swept over him. He laid back in th grass and closed his eyes.

Jasper, after a minute, felt himself able to breath. The pain in his neck was slowly leaving. When Serenity finally took her hand off his neck, he sighed. "T-thanks," he said, giving her a small smile. He was just glad that he hadn't passed out. He looked at Felix as the guy said that he never wanted to go through that again. "Ditto," he said with a nod.

Serenity's gaze dropped as Jasper thanked her and Felix said that he didn't ever want to go through that again. She felt terrible about this whole ordeal. If she hadn't been cursed, this never would've happened. "Thank you..." she said to them quietly. "I'm sorry you had to go through this for me....." she felt like crying, but all she could do at this point in time was shake.

Felix sat up when Jasper spoke. He looked the guy over and grinned. "You're not that bad of a fighter Jasper, we're going to have to spare sometime." He then looked at Serenity. "Don't worry about it," he said and patted her on the head. "If you keep blaming yourself for everything you're not going to get anywhere." He shook his head. "Are you okay?"

Jasper looked at Felix with a grin as he said that he wasn't a bad fighter. "Heh, you're not that bad yourself," he said. "I wouldn't mind having a sparring match or two with ya," he said with the same grin. He shook his head when Serenity apologized. "It's not your fault," he told her with a smile.

Serenity looked at Felix and Jasper as they both told her pretty much the same thing. She looked down as Felix asked if she was okay. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said with a nod. In all reality, she wasn't. She was shaken up beyond belief, but she didn't want them to know that. They'd just gone through all the trouble of saving her, she wanted them to relax, not worry about her.

Felix gave a sigh and stood himself up. "Okay, let's get out of here," Felix said. He held his hand out to Serenity so he could help her up and then looked at Jasper. "I think you can handle getting your own self up," Felix mused. He had a smirk on his face. Despite their short alliance he still didn't like the guy. And now that it was all over he could be as mean as he wanted.

Serenity looked at Felix as he held his hand out to help her up. She took it and pulled herself up without a word. She didn't want to talk, because she thought that if she did she might start tearing up or something. She stayed next to Felix as they walked.

Jasper got up with a grin at Felix's comment. "The hell if I was gonna take your help getting up even if you offered it," he said with a chuckle. Since everything was over now, things between him and Felix could go back to normal. "Let's get home," he said, starting to walk. He knew that Serenity was probably gonna walk next to Felix the whole way, and that was fine. As much as he hated to say it, he was coming to terms with the fact that his love for her would remain unrequited.

Felix stayed silent, even after Jasper's comment. He didn't feel like arguing with him. He closed his eyes as he walked. Everything wa sback to normal. He looked at Serenity and then to Jasper. This group was the last group he'd ever imagined to be with on a rescue mission. Serenity because she was sort of...useless, and Jasper because they didn't see eye to eye. As they arrived at the village Felix came to a stop at the gates. "Well, it's been good," he said.
