Serenity blinked when he said that he was going to help her clean the place up. She'd done all the damage, he shouldn't be helping her clean up. She looked around as he asked where she wanted him to start. "I think...most of this stuff has to be redone by a specialist..." she said, her voice not sounding sad, but more like 'Oh jeez this place really is a mess.' She was quickly coming back. "But...I guess that those pictures have to be picked up..." she said, her head tilted a little. "I'll take care of the curtains I guess," she said. During the house shaking, the curtains had rattled right off the windows. She was feeling very tired all of the sudden. And very, very weak. The fact that she was standing up on her own was a miracle in itself. But then again, most of the time, Felix had been holding her up, and she hadn't even bothered with trying to move yet. She didn't like the fact that she'd probably collapse right when she started walking.

Felix nodded as she told him what he should do. He walked over to the pictures and began to pick them up and place them in the box. He didn't bother looking at them but stopped when saw that her kids. Toldya you could count on me. He continued to put the pictures away until they were all in a the box. He sat on the ground for a bit. "I'm done." He said. His back was killing him.

Yeah, she thought it would happen. She'd had to put her hand on one of the walls to keep herself from falling after Felix had gone to pick up the pictures. Her whole world had started spinning the moment she tried to move. But she didn't fall, she just leaned against the wall, well...one of the unbroken walls. It took a few moments until everything stopped spinning, and when they did, she put the curtains back up, and sighed when she saw the cracked windows. "Great..." she mumbled. She looked at Felix when he said he was done. "Felix, can I ask you something...?" she paused. "I know I told you plenty about Jake, so he would be an obvious one but...what made you bring up Konner and James? I'm sure I've only talked about them once..." she said, leaning against the wall. She was more stable than before, she was...well, she wasn't going to snap or start crying from talking about her kids right now. She was actually feeling...really lively for some reason.

Felix paused and then turned and looked at her. "Oh, that." He wondered if she was okay to know what had happened. He waited a second before he answered. "In all honest truth they're the ones who got me to come check on you," he said. "They were really worried about you, mostly James." He grinned and looked at Serenity. "He has your eyes." Felix picked the box up and carried it over to her. "They're real good kids, just to let you know."

Serenity looked at him curiously when he paused before answering her. When he did though, she froze in place. "What do you mean...they got you to?" she asked. She didn't understand it. They'd been dead for centuries. She blushed a little when he said that James had her eyes, then that they were good kids. She knew that already, but it was...well, nice to hear it coming from Felix. But, she really wanted to know what he meant when he said that they'd come and got him. She was curious as to how they'd convinced him. They'd both died at about 30 years old, and another thing she'd wondered about was...if they'd appeared to him at that age, why he'd called them kids. Had they...?

Felix shook his head. "It's complicated. Oniki came by and wanted me to check on you, but taht didn't work out so well. I was about to go inside, and there they were. James was crying and then he saw me and said I was the one. Konner didn't buy it. James one the other hand came over and begged for my help, I said okay. Simple as that." He said. Felix shrugged. "Why? Something wrong?" He asked.

Serenity listened to him as he said that it was complicated. As he explained, she started to smile a little bit. When he asked if something was wrong she had almost started laughing. "When you saw the two of them....how old did they look?" she asked with a light smile, her blue eyes shining in amusement.

(oh and we'll say they were about 6 or 7)

Felix shrugged whens he skipped over his questioned and asked one of her own. He hated when she did that, but he wasn't going to say anything. He knew he'd have to be nicer to her from now on. Treating her like that had cause 'it' to come out and Felix didn't really like the 'it' side of her. "I don't know, maybe six or seven," he said.

(Lol, the 'it' side of her. Nice. He really doesn't want to refer to that side of her as demon-like, does he?)

Serenity allowed a small giggle to escape her at his answer. Yes, she was definitely getting back to her old self. "Felix, my boys lived to 35 years old. They...they coaxed you," she said with another small laugh. Go figure, her boys would pull off a stunt like that. They probably knew about Felix's soft spot for kids and used it against him. She started taking a few steps towards the couch, but stumbled a bit and caught herself on the small table that sat next to the couch. She felt dizzy. And aside from that, the whole reason she'd stumbled was because a sharp pain had shot through her side. "I gotta...sit down," she nearly mumbled, her head spinning. As soon as the world stopped spinning enough for her to move, she made her way to the couch and slowly sat down. She didn't really remember too much of the fight, only that she'd stabbed Felix. She didn't remember anything after that, so she didn't know why she had such a sudden pain in her side.

"They what?" He asked. A dark glow covering him. Those little brats, children where nothing but devils! Felix shook his head. "Hmph." He then looked at Serenity as she seemed to have been having troubles. "Are you okay?" He asked going over to her. He didn't know what was wrong with her. Maybe it was an effect from overusing her wind or something. He didn't know, but he was worried about her.

(lol, he's pissed)

Serenity gave a light chuckle at his response. "But...I'm kind of glad that they did," she said with a light smile. She looked at him as he came over and asked what was wrong, wondering if he was really actually concerned. Deciding to push the thought aside, she only shook her head lightly, finding out moments later that was a bad idea, as the world started spinning again. She put her hand on her head as if it would keep everything still. "Yeah...I think...I'm just really dizzy," she told him, deciding that the sharp pain was nothing. Or at least, nothing compared to this blasted spinning.

Felix knew she was lying, but he wouldn't call her out on it. That was not okay. "Maybe you should go lay down or something," he suggested. "Earlier, when we were fighting, I sort of..." He stopped. He felt bad about his actions earlier. "Kicked you..." He finished and settled onto the floor next to the couch.

Serenity only nodded very slightly as he said that she should lay down. But she didn't think she'd be able to make it upstairs. Not in this condition. Serenity cringed a little when he mentioned their fight. She hated thinking about it, and her gaze immediately dropped. "It's alright...I deserved it anyways," she said with a light smile, trying not to get depressed about the whole thing again. When he sat (or laid?) on the floor, she sighed and slowly laid herself down on the couch on her stomach. "I don't think I'll be able to make it upstairs, so I'm just gonna lay here for now," she told him, crossing her arms on the couch and laying her head lightly on them.

Felix didn't say anything. He would have offered to carry her up the stairs, but how would she get down when he went home. Yes, he planned on going home today. He felt like he didn't belong here anymore. "Don't bother moving," he said to her. "Is there anything you want?" He asked. "Blanket, pillow, food, drink, etc."

She gave a small chuckle as he told her not to move. She could no longer tell the difference between if what he was saying was genuine or not, so she decided to stop trying all together. She took a moment to think as he asked her if there was anything she wanted. "Umm...yeah, just a blanket and pillow. Thanks..." she said, her eyes on the wall across the room. "You can just pull'em off my bed," she said. She was glad at this point that her room wasn't a mess. When he left to get them, she sighed. She was gonna have one hell of a time moving tomorrow, that was for sure. And she'd have to call some people to fix her house for her as well, she couldn't fix it herself, though she knew how. She just wouldn't be able to move that much, and she wasn't just gonna let it sit like that until she got better.

Felix stood up and made his way up the stairs to her room without any objections. Heh, I saved her, but now that I'm traveling that path, it just seems... Felix bowed his head and pulled the blanket and pillow off her bed and went down the stairs. "Here," he said handing her the items. "Are you able to heal yourself? Or should I call a doctor?"

(FINISH THE THOUGHT)

Serenity looked at him with a light smile and sat up a bit, taking the items from him and putting the pillow where her head had just been laying and the blanket over her before laying back onto her stomach with a smile and a content sigh. It took all she had not to flinch that entire time she was moving. She looked at him as he asked if she could heal herself or if he needed to call a doctor. "Don't bother, I'll be able to heal myself," she told him with a smile. "Thank you." She owed him a lot. A lot more than he knew. And a lot more than he'd ever know.

"Try not to move," he told her. He knew calling a doctor would be better. That was she could save her strength. He sat against the arm of the couch. His back leaning against the fabric. He placed his hand up to his face and sat there. It was quiet, she'd began to worry, and he'd have to lie. That's how it always started. He hsook his head and retreived his phone. One week until the trial. He slowly sent the text: Jasper, the deals off. Don't ask questions, it's no longer important to me. Enjoy your freedom. He sent the message and began a new one to Aiko, Walker and Stephen, and then his Captain. He was trying to keep his mind off of other things.

Serenity looked at him as he said try not to move then gave a small smile. "Yeah...sorry," she said, knowing that he'd said before not to move. Well, it wasn't like she could help it. The silence started to disturb her a little bit. She looked up at him, but didn't move too much as she did. "You..." she paused. Should she really ask him? Would it just start another argument? "You okay Fe?" she asked. Aside from the silence, she was also wondering about how that stab wound was doing. She felt horrible about it, more than he could know. How could she possibly hurt him like that?

Felix looked up as she asked if he was okay. From where he sat he couldn't see her, nor did he want to right now. Guilt was weighing heavy on his shoulders. How would he answer her. Say he was fine and move on with his life, knowing that each lie would push her farther away from him and closer to 'it'. His blue eyes wavered at the thought. "Yes, I'm okay," he said. "Don't worry about me, you're more important at the moment."

Serenity couldn't see his face, so she hadn't seen any expression on his face, if there had even been one. At his answer, she suddenly started feeling horrible. She'd hurt him. And it wasn't just a smack either. She'd made him bleed. By the time he'd finished his last sentence, she'd brought herself to sitting up, flinching a little as she did. "Felix..." Her gaze was on him. "Please...let me heal your back...please, just let me heal it, and I'll never bother you about a healing again, I swear, just...please," she said, her blue eyes begging. She couldn't stand the fact that she'd hurt him, she didn't care about what he'd done to her. In her mind she deserved every bit of it.

Felix got up. "Don't make a promise you can't keep," he told her and walked over to the couch removing his jacket. "Once you're done stop moving," he said. "You're just going to make yourself worse." His blue eyes met hers for a breif second and then he sat down infront of her and lifted his shirt so she wouldn't have to. Felix had forgotten about the wound through all the craziness. But thinking about it didn't really help. The dullness was still there but the pain was slowly making its way to the surface.

(Sad in which way? Tear tear sad, or pathetic sad?)

Serenity was glad that he hadn't argued with her on this one. Truthfully she wasn't sure if she could keep that promise, but she'd sure as hell try. She nodded lightly as he told her to stop moving after this. She probably wouldn't have stopped moving until he'd agreed to let her heal him anyways. She blinked as he lifted his shirt, then put her hand lightly over his back, her chakra coming visible as a much lighter blue than normal as she started healing him.

Felix turned his head to the side as she started to heal him. This silence was killing him. Was there nothing they could talk about that would atleast start some form of conversation? Felix shook his head without meaning to. "Is there anything else you'll need help with after you finish?" He asked her.

(Dunno...maybe...no, idk.)

Serenity stayed silent as she healed him. Just seeing the wound was torturing her, because she knew it was her fault. When he asked her if there was anything else she'd need help with, she tried to play it cool since he wasn't looking at her. "Umm...no, I don't think so...I was just gonna call someone to fix my wall and windows," she said. "Why, you going home?" she asked, dreading the answer.
